About the Pastor
Jeff Brower
Pastor Jeff Brower has been married to his wife for 23 years. Together they have 4 children and they welcome kids in their home through foster care. Jeff grew up in a Christian home and dedicated his life to the Lord when he turned 21. Soon after getting married, Jeff and his wife started a young adult home fellowship in which he found a love for people and teaching the Bible. He took bible classes for 4 years at Garden State Bible School and was eager to learn all he could about God's word. He felt the call on his life to be a pastor when he was about 28. Still teaching, he dove into the scriptures and studied under Pastor Vince Lombardo of Calvary Chapel of Hammonton. He spent many years as a worship leader as well at Calvary Chapel of Hammonton and Calvary Chapel of Ocean City. Jeff Brower, at the age of 33 was ordained as a pastor by Calvary Chapel of Hammonton on July 20th, 2012. Jeff started Wellspring Church along with a team of God-fearing, God-loving people in hopes to reach more people for the Lord, by "Filling up on God's Word and Overflowing with God's Love."
The children are very important to us at Wellspring. We are dedicated to providing a loving and safe place for children to learn about Jesus' love in a fun and relevant way. All teachers and helpers are approved through an application process and must pass a background check. All children are checked in and only released with a matching parent tag. Children are encouraged to be a part of our worship service during the opening songs. Children are brought to their classes after a time of worship together.
NURSERY: AGES 0-18 months: A loving and safe nursery is available during the service for babies and toddlers.
TODDLER: 18 months - 3 years: A class is available during the service for young children with a lesson, stories, music and lots of play.
PRESCHOOL: 3 years - pre K: We are using a Christ Centered curriculum that is tailored to their age and use plenty of fun to keep them engaged.
ELEMENTARY: Kindergarten - 1st grade; 2nd - 3rd grade, 4th - 5th grade: We are using a Christ-centered curriculum called Superbook that guides students through key stories in the Bible and helps them apply those truths in practical ways. Along the way, children are learning how to pray and study God’s Word—all while having fun.
6th-8th Grade: Onward Jr. High Ministry meets every week during each Sunday service for a class with deeper lessons and plenty of fun. They also have youth group on Wednesday nights Click here for more information.
8th-12th graders: The Movement High School meets every Sunday Night but there is no class during the church services, they are encouraged to sit with their family for the sermon. Click here for more information.
